Health Care

As part of the nation's ongoing effort to give back to the men and women who serve our country, the American people decided to advocate free or reasonably priced health care coverage for members of the Armed Forces and their family members as well as Military retirees. TRICARE offers a wide range of health plans for a variety of medical needs, and many allow for free care or charge a very low rate in comparison to prices paid by the general public.

Finance has become a big issue in the recent recession period. People are looking for cost-cutting methods in order to manage funds. Many corporate houses have asked people to resign from jobs and have also slashed the salary of the existing employees. The recession did not cause just financial crunch in the business world, in fact, it also affected the personal life of each single individual across the world. It influenced so badly that the people had no time to give utmost attention to their elderly family members during ill-health.

One of the main reasons why the cost of medical health insurance in America is increasing rapidly is because there are lots of Americans who need and require medical attention very often and the demand for medical supplies and other medical-related costs need to be met with the means of medical health insurance for each one. Unhealthy living and lifestyle are the major causes why Americans seek medical attention. The only solution to the rising medical health care insurance premiums is to become healthier.

Continuity of therapy is a vital component of quality care for people with serious mental illnesses and must be given more attention by consumers themselves, family members, advocates, providers, administrators, and researchers alike. At the moment, there is an important opportunity to develop a national consensus statement on the principles and practice standards that should form the basis of a continuum of therapy designed to provide realistic assurance that consumers can access vital medications when and where they are needed.

The original concept was that the nationalized health care plan being proposed by President Obama would lower the amount of visits made to hospital emergency rooms each day given that those who seek emergency room care for routine health care issues would now have the medical insurance coverage that they require to schedule regular doctor visits. Taking a look at the bigger picture however, uncovers a scary concept and the new health care plan might actually cause an increase in the amount of non-emergency, emergency room visits each day.

The health care fraud, bank/mortgage fraud and securities fraud practitioner should be aware of 18 U.S.C. § 1345, a law which permits the federal government to file a civil action to enjoin the commission or imminent commission of a federal health care offense, bank-mortgage offense, securities offense, and other offenses under Title 18, Chapter 63. Otherwise known as the federal Fraud Injunction Statute, it also authorizes a court to freeze the assets of persons or entities who have obtained property as a result of a past or ongoing federal bank violations, health care violations, securities violations, or other covered federal offenses.

Many people in this country find themselves looking for health insurance at some point in their lives. Some people are lucky. Some people get fulltime jobs that offer wonderful benefits and reasonable rates. There are many people, however, who do not have this benefit and need to find insurance plans for themselves. Believe it or not, some people who are offered health insurance from their employers actually turn down the benefit and end up getting an individual plan anyway.
